The slopes of this area are conditionally divided into "Three Valleys", each of which boasts its own ski slope in Courchevel. There are three categories of slopes to choose from: blue, red and black. In total, the length of the ski slopes of Courchevel is about 150 km, and the longest piste is spread over 3, 8 km.
Courchevel 1850 is one part of the ski resort from which you can transfer to the neighboring valleys. Courchevel's steepest and most challenging ski slopes are in the Courchevel 1300 area.
There are black slopes that run along three gorges to the right of the upper station of the Solier elevator, but the best solution for teaching beginners the basics of skiing is in Courchevel 1650.
Pistes of medium complexity will be interesting for those who are not the first time on skis. Such places: La Vizelle "Marmotte", "Le Signal" and the descent "Bouc Blanc" to La Tania. Jean Blanc and Couloir Emile Allais are considered the most difficult slopes in Courchevel.
As for Courchevel's snow cover, the season starts in November and lasts until April. But even in the absence of snow, 523 snow cannons will organize you white pistes for skiing. Most of them are installed on the lower pistes where snow can be a problem.
