Dresden Airport, Dresden-Klotzsche, is located 9 km from the city center, in the Klotzsche district. The airport receives flights from central European cities and some popular resorts. Dresden Airport is often used for cargo transportation as well.

There is a suburban railway (S-Bahn) in Dresden, thanks to which you can easily get from the airport (Flughafen Dresden station) to the city.
Upon exiting Dresden Hauptbahnhof station, you will find yourself on Pragerstraße, the city's main shopping street. From here, you can easily walk to all major attractions in the city.
The train station is located on the lower floor of the terminal.
Route. From the airport you can take line S2 to the central station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof). The journey will take 21 minutes.
Schedule. S-Bahn trains run every 30 minutes from 04:48 to 23:48. You can check the timetable here.
Ticket price: EUR 2.40 (valid for train, tram and bus). The ticket must be purchased directly on the platform or at the information desk in the arrivals area, as well as on the website.
Buses
The bus stop is located right outside the airport. You can find all the detailed information about the routes, their schedule on the site.
You can buy tickets in the arrivals area at the information desk, at the machine at the bus stop or from the driver.
Price: EUR 2.30. The ticket is valid for all types of public transport.
Route No. 77 (working schedule - from 05:03 00:33) you can get from the terminal to the Infineon-Nord stop. Then you need to transfer to tram number 7. You will reach the large junctions of Albertplatz, Pirnaischer Platz.
Route No. 80(working hours from 04:43 to 23:17) - will take you to ElbePark (this is a shopping and entertainment center), the next stop is in the Omsewitz area. There you can change to the S2 train (Käthe-Kollwitz-Platz) or change to tram 7.
