Unofficially, the city is divided into 50 districts, in each of which there is something to see for a tourist. Tel Aviv was founded relatively recently (in 1909), so there are few historical sights here. But there are enough interesting museums, beautiful buildings, picturesque landscapes and restaurants with delicious food.
You can visit one of the oldest cities in the world - Jaffa. It is here, according to legends, that Noah built his Ark, Perseus freed Andromeda, and the prophet Jonah traveled from here. Now Jaffa is a tourist district of Tel Aviv, where there are many restaurants, workshops, markets, museums. Archeological excavations are still being carried out here.
It is worth visiting the Eretz Israel Museum. Its collection contains exhibits about the cultures, traces of which were found on the territory of Israel. The expositions of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Modern Art are also interesting.
Connoisseurs of theater art awaits "Gesher", where they give performances in Russian and Hebrew. In the troupe of this theater once began the career of Leonid Kanevsky - Soviet actor, star of the series of films "Investigation leads connoisseurs".
