The best place to hike in Tel Aviv is Jaffa. First of all, it's the oldest neighborhood in the city - the hot stones of the houses and sidewalks literally remember the "deeds of bygone days" (in addition to the mythical Perseus and Andromeda, the Crusaders, Napoleon, and even the Apostle Peter walked here).
Secondly, it is from the Jaffa hills that the most picturesque view of modern Tel Aviv opens up. And thirdly, it is home to many colorful places!
We recommend starting your walking tour of Tel Aviv from the Clock Square with Migdal a Shaon (Clock Tower) in the center. Under the dome you will see 4 dials that show different times (Jewish and local). Walk a bit towards Givat Jaffa and you will see the main mosque of Tel Aviv Mahmudiyah (interesting detail - a small fountain on one of the walls, from which the Sultan's camels used to drink).
The next point on the Tel Aviv tourist itinerary is the Old City's main square, or Kikar Kdumim, which translates to "Antiquities Square." Thanks to excavations, the local architecture reflects the diverse history of Jaffa - you won't find a more "ancient" place in the city.
We continue our route through Tel Aviv in the labyrinth of narrow streets of the district - they are favored by local artists, the most famous is the Frank Meisler Gallery. The colorful symbol of the creative quarter is a stone egg hanging in the air, from which a tree grows!
Finish your walk in Tel Aviv at Abrasha Park - cacti, palm trees and exotic flowers are always inspiring, and under the Wishing Gate you can count on your most cherished wish coming true!
