Modern trains engine

Israel's railroads are growing rapidly. The lines run through the densely populated coastal, northern, central, and some southern parts of the country. Many routes use double-decker cars. A ticket is not bought for the train, but from point to point. It is possible to change randomly from train to train within the paid direction. The Seaside line runs from Ashkelon through Tel Aviv to Nagariya. The southern goes from Tel Aviv to Be'er Sheva and Dimona. The southeastern goes from Tel Aviv through Lod and Beit Shemesh to Jerusalem. There is also a northeastern line to Ben-Gurion International Airport and to Modiin.

City trains are available in Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem. They are part of a regular rail line connecting 2-3 stations in an individual city. An urban train costs 7 ILS in Tel Aviv, 6 ILS in other cities.
