City Transport
Tickets can be purchased at underground passages, tobacco or newspaper kiosks. Note that you should validate them not inside the transport, but at the stop using special turnstiles.
Transport Prices in Milan:
- A single ticket for any mode of transport costs 1.5 EUR. It is valid for one and a half hours from the moment it is validated.
- An evening pass for 3 EUR is valid from 20:00 until the end of the transport service.
- A 24-hour pass costs 4.5 EUR, and a 48-hour pass costs 8.5 EUR.
A piece of advice for tourists regarding transport in Milan: if you are unsure about how often you will need to use the metro or trams, consider purchasing a ticket based on the number of trips (10 trips for 13.8 EUR).
