Riga International Airport is situated 10 kilometers from the city of Riga, in Skulte. It is one of Latvia's largest transportation hubs and ranks among the largest airports in the Baltics.
To the City Center
Public Transportation
- Stop: Near the airport building, adjacent to the landmark parking lot P1, on the right side of it.

- Travel Time: Approximately 20-30 minutes.
Ticket Price: 2 EUR when purchased from the driver, or 1.15 EUR when bought at the airport. You can find tickets at Narvesen kiosk, the information desk of Sveicināti Rīgā! (located on the 1st floor of the terminal), or in a vending machine at the bus stop.
Bus No. 22 (Rigas Satiksme)
Route: Lidosta Riga - Grecinieku iela, with the stop in the center being the final one.
- Operating Schedule: On weekdays from 05:45 to 00:10, running every 15-50 minutes; on Saturdays from 05:45 to 23:50, with departures every 30-40 minutes.
Bus #222
This bus will take you to the central railway station.
- Operating Schedule: On weekdays from 06:28 to 21:26, running every 10-20 minutes; on weekends from 06:42 to 21:47, operating at intervals of every 20-25 minutes.
Bus #241
This route will bring you to the center of Riga, with the desired stop being Esplanade.
- Operating Time: On weekdays, from 06:04 to 22:20 (every 15-25 minutes); on weekends, from 07:30 to 21:50 (every 30-40 minutes).
