Warsaw's Fryderyk Chopin Airport is only 10 kilometers from the city. Regular buses and trains run from there, so it won't be difficult to get to the tourist center. You can take buses № 148 (to Ursunov and Praha districts), № 175 (to the central train station) and № 188 (to the metro station near the station). And at night there is bus № 32, which also goes to the station.
Every 15 minutes a train leaves the airport and stops at the Central Railway Station. If you are in a hurry, you can also take a cab, but it will cost 70 zlotys.
In 2012, another airport - Modlin - appeared near Warsaw. It serves flights of two major European low-cost carriers: Ryanair and Wizz Air. And if you fly to Poland from Europe, you will most likely land here. The distance to the city is about 40 kilometers. Experienced travelers advise to avoid banks and money exchangers in Warsaw. The rate and commission in these institutions are extremely unfavorable. We recommend looking for the so-called "Kantor" (the sign in Polish will say Kantor) - this is where the most honest rate without overpayments.
