You won't have to wander the map to find out which cities in Monaco's regions are the most popular, as the Principality is so small that it is made up of several cities, which are considered to be the centers of all the regions. Before the adoption of the constitution in 1917, there were three regions of Monaco, named: Monaco, La Condamine and Monte Carlo. Today there is no such division.
Graphically, it is still most clear to divide Monaco into 3 regions.
The northern region of Monaco is considered the wealthiest and most prestigious. It is home to the city of Monte Carlo, which is famous for its casino and elite resort area. The region also includes cities such as: Saint-Roman, Saint-Michel and Larvotto.
The central region of Monaco is home to a seaport. It includes towns such as La Condamine, La Colle, and Moneghetti. This part of the country is home to some of the most memorable sights.
The southern region of Monaco, is represented by a single district of the same name. In this country, you can also have a great time visiting the old town and the princely residence. The largest town that is part of its territory is considered to be Fontvieille. Not far from it, you can check out the beautiful zoo.
When you come to Monaco, you will visit all parts of this small country. There are no borders and it's impossible to know when one region ends and another begins. You just have to relax and forget about your everyday problems.
