The beach season here is from May to October. The water temperature warms up to about +22 °C on the Adriatic coast and up to +24 °C in the resorts of the Bay of Kotor. Incredibly clean Adriatic Sea is an undoubted plus of vacation in Montenegro. Fans of warm water will love the rest of the summer when it is hot, and the water is a little warmer than in the fall.
Average summer temperatures are around +17-+25 °C in coastal areas, +18-+29 °C in the central part of the country, and +12-+20 °C in the mountains. Ulcinj and Kotor are among the hottest areas, while Budva or Herceg Novi are cooler.
