Philippine Customs regulations allow the import and export of any amount of foreign currency into the country. However, amounts exceeding 10,000 USD need to be declared, accompanied by an explanation regarding the purpose of transportation.

The list of items permitted for transport on an airplane to the Philippines includes:

• Food, clothing, and personal items, as needed for individual use
• A choice of either 400 cigarettes, 50 cigars, or 250g of tobacco

As for alcohol, travelers can bring a maximum of two bottles, each containing 1L. There are no regulated restrictions on the amount of alcohol that can be taken out of the Philippines as per local law.

Local regulations in the Philippines outline items that are prohibited to bring or export from the country. This list includes:

• Firearms and ammunition
• Poisonous and toxic substances
• Gold in bars and plates
• Pornography
• Drugs and related ingredients
• Lottery tickets
• Unlabeled precious metals
• Gambling machines
• Vegetables and seedlings lacking certificates

Importation of pets into the Philippines is allowed under the condition that they possess an international veterinary certificate, an applied-for import permit obtained in advance, and a valid rabies vaccination certificate.
