How to get to Cape Town from the airport

There are several ways to get from the airport to Cape Town:

by bus MyCiTi (travel time is about 30 minutes, flight schedule is from 4:20 to 22:00, fare is about ZAR 62);

by car on highway N2. The counters of leading rental companies Sixt, Europcar, Hertz and others are located between the terminal counters, in front of the 1,400-plus-space outdoor parking lot and the central airport area;

by taxi (travel time is about 20 minutes, transfer to the city center costs ZAR 250). The officially authorized airport service is Touch-Down Taxis with the most favorable service rates;

by PRASA electric trains, which depart from the airport train station.
