Antalya Airport is located approximately 10 km from the city. Initially, the airport was intended exclusively for charter flights, gradually it turned into one of the largest air gates in Turkey. Dozens of transfer buses depart daily from it not only to hotels in Antalya itself, but also to hotels in other Mediterranean resorts - Kemer, Tekirova, Side, Alanya.
The airport receives almost 30 million passengers a year. It has two international terminals and one domestic terminal for passenger operations.

Antalya travel tips
From Antalya Airport you can travel to other resort towns with a transfer. First, you need to get to the Antalya bus station (by bus or shuttle), then continue your journey from the international terminal (for example, to Cappadocia, Fethiye or Konya) or domestic terminal (to Alanya, Kemer, Side, Tekirova).
The most favorable exchange rate is offered by ATMs located at the airport. The currency exchange office performs this operation at an inconvenient rate for tourists.
In order to feel more confident in Antalya, getting to the airport and other important points,
it's advisable to save the coordinates of the resort's air gateway or the desired landmarks in Google Maps. Write down the address and name of your hotel not only on your smartphone but also on a piece of paper, and always keep it with you.
You can get to the city center by tram, bus, Havas shuttle, taxi or rented car. Tram and bus are not the best option for families with children and travelers with lots of luggage. But the shuttle in this case is an ideal option. The only disadvantage of this type of transport is the significant time spent on the road. The best way to get to the city center or hotel is by renting a car or taxi, but they are more expensive.
