Vietnam vacations in April are probably the most favorable time to visit in this country. Wherever you go, whether you go to the north of Vietnam, the south or the central provinces of the country, you will find comfortable temperatures and no rain.
Except that on the mountain slopes of North Vietnam, temperatures can drop to +16°C in the evenings and rain can sometimes drizzle. But that's hardly a reason not to climb the Hai Van Pass, which offers magnificent views of Vietnam's scenery and the South China Sea.
And if you decide to devote your vacation in Vietnam in the spring trip to numerous national parks, then you are waiting for an inexpressible spectacle. After all, it is in the spring days on the mountain slopes of North and Central Vietnam blooms the most plants. So a trip through the local forests on ATVs or jeeps will be remembered by a wild riot of colors and aromas.
Do not forget about beach vacations. April is the best time to visit the beaches of Phantiehta or even swim in Halong Bay, where the waters are finally warming up to the right temperature.
When touring Vietnam in April, you have a chance to see a whole host of stunning local festivals. The most colorful of them all is the Hung Kings Memorial Day in Phu Ho Province. There will be carnival processions through the streets of towns and villages, large-scale fireworks, and ornate boat processions along the rivers.
The festival in the clouds in the mountain town of Sapa is less large-scale, but strikes with its symbolism and beauty. And in the village of Daklak there is a fun elephant competition.
