Experienced travelers recommend coming to the capital of Argentina for at least a week. There is so much to see and do here that it is almost unrealistic to fit it into fewer days!
Start your acquaintance with the city from the La Boca district - one of the most contrasting. Colorful houses neighbor with slums, on the streets couples dance to the sounds of Argentine tango, artists sell their paintings, and callers invite tourists to restaurants. However, it is quite expensive and not always tasty, so dinner in the establishments of this area guides do not advise.
Take time to see the symbols of Buenos Aires, such as the Pink House "Casa Rosada", a huge mechanical flower "Floralis Generica", the cemetery Cementerio De Recoleta, where the legendary Eva Peron is buried, and the Congress building. In the Plaza de la República is the Obelisk, which is about 70 meters high. It was erected for the 400th anniversary of the founding of Buenos Aires in 1936.
It's worth attending one of the many tango shows, which often include dinner. Check out Café Tortoni, which has been operating in Argentina's capital for more than 150 years. Even if you don't make it to the show, you'll still get a taste of this sensual and slightly crazy city.
