Kaprun's ski slopes are divided into two sections: for beginners and for more experienced skiers. Very "green" skiers ski in the Mayskogel area. Here the terrain is soft and uncomplicated, with a gentler slope that leads to the valley at the foot of the mountain. The Kaprun glacier, located at an altitude of 3209 meters, is at the service of more advanced skiing enthusiasts. From it, the slopes lead to the Sonnenkar and Alpincenter stations, and from there to the valleys. The ski resorts in the Zell am See area, which are also part of the so-called European Sports Region, are usually shown on the map.
