Water temperature in Opatija
The water temperature in the Adriatic Sea is more favorable than anywhere else for long sea bathing. In late fall, winter and early spring the water temperature in Kvarner Bay fluctuates around +11-16°C. Starting from May, the sea gets warmer - from +20°C. The Adriatic Sea becomes warmer in June and September, when the water temperature warms up to +26-27°C. Even in October the sea is still warm enough - +20°C.
