Lithuania's largest airports

  • Vilnius Airport is the international airport of the capital of Lithuania, located 7 km south of the center of Vilnius. It was opened in 1932. The airport terminal is located in a beautiful Soviet Union-era building, which houses cafes, food and souvenir stores, a duty-free store, currency exchange offices, ATMs, a pharmacy, children's play areas, stroller rentals and 1 lounge block. Lithuania's largest airport serves up to 4-5 million passengers a year on international and domestic routes, which is about 80% of the country's total passenger traffic.
  • Kaunas Airport, the second largest civilian air port in the country, is more focused on servicing low-cost carriers on international routes. The airport has 1 terminal with VIP check-in areas, several cafes, exchange offices and luggage storage rooms. There are no hotels in the terminal building, but there are 2 hotels nearby, which can be reached in 5 minutes.
  • Palanga Airport - air harbor serves flights of low-cost carriers from Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. In summer time flights from Moscow, Warsaw and Minsk and other major European cities are added. One terminal at the airport serves passengers from the Schengen area, the second - from other countries. The terminal building houses a restaurant, a coffee shop, a bar, a duty-free shop and currency exchange offices.
