There are more than 220 major airports on the map of the Russian Federation. The network covers the country from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. Every 3rd port is international, and 89 air harbors specialize in domestic flights.
Due to long distances, some airports in Russia operate as transit airports: in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other cities. 90% of passenger traffic is handled by the 30 largest harbors: 1 million people a year each. The level of service is proportional to the status of the airport.
