Tashkent has three airports:
Tashkent Islam Karimov International Airport is the main gateway to Uzbekistan and one of the busiest airports in Central Asia. It is often called Tashkent-South, not to be confused with Tashkent-Eastern, which is under construction.
It is also that rare case when it is conveniently located - in the city limits, 15 minutes from the center - and you are at the airport.
Passenger traffic at Tashkent airport in 2022 reached five million passengers. On average, 26 flights depart from Tashkent International Airport every day.
It consists of two terminals, one of which serves only domestic flights and the second is international.
