Joan-les-Pins, built at the end of the 19th century, was originally intended to be a resort area. The whole architecture of the city, with its embankments and avenues, is oriented towards relaxation, walking and enjoying the sea scenery.
Of course, the main attraction of the city are its beaches. The coastline with white sand, with pine crowns sheltering vacationers from excessive heat, looks like a real embodiment of peace. Joan-les-Pins has some of the best conditions for a seaside vacation you can think of.
The resort is appreciated by young people, and therefore among the streets of Juan-les-Pins hides a lot of nightclubs and other entertainment venues. But the cult music of the resort was and remains jazz. It is here that the famous July Jazz Festival, dedicated to Sidney Bische, takes place. On July days, coastal Joan-les-Pins is filled with an inexpressible jazz atmosphere in all its manifestations.
The restaurants of Juan-les-Pins are practically a separate item on the tour. After all, where else to get acquainted with French cuisine, as not on the Côte d'Azur.
Juan-les-Pins has many fascinating museums. It is also here that the famous Marineland Marine Park, the largest in Europe, is located.
