Juan-les-Pins' rise to fame began at the end of the twentieth century when the Duke of D'Albany, son of Queen Victoria of England, came here for a vacation.

Douglas Fairbanks, Jay Gould, Frances Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald were among the first to enjoy its beauty.
