Meribel is part of the famous ski area Les 3 Vallées (Three Valleys). It comprises four villages and several hamlets. The busiest part of the resort is Meribel center (1450 meters above sea level), from where you can get to other areas on elevators, and in the area Brides-les-Bains, where you can rent inexpensive housing - by gondola. In Central Meribel there is a sports complex "Park Olympic", skating rink, swimming pool, cinemas, discos, observatory and planetarium.
Meribel Village (1400 meters above sea level) is a hamlet with many affordable hotels. It is located two kilometers from the center of the resort and is connected to other areas by elevators. Meribel-Mottaret village (1750 meters above sea level) and Altiport (1700 meters) are chosen by lovers of luxury vacations, as this is where expensive hotels and restaurants are concentrated. In the evening you can get to the central part of Meribel only by cab.
Two snow parks await freestyle enthusiasts: DC AREA 43 in Meribel-Mottaret village and Moon Park in Meribel center. DC AREA 43 is one of the best in the country, with two halfpipes and an inflatable pillow. Moon Park has a half-pipe, a boardercross course and wooden jibbing figures.
