Meribel is a well-developed ski resort that is perfect for beginner skiers. If you don't know how to ski or snowboard at all, you should contact local ski instructors.
There are 6 ski schools in the resort, where you can learn to ski in just a few days and you will be able to ski not only green and blue slopes, but also red slopes without any problems. The most popular and the largest school is considered to be E.S.F. Ecole du Ski Francais. 450 experienced instructors will show the basics of skiing and snowboarding. To make the learning process more effective, skiing lessons can be conducted in eight languages, including Russian.
The process of learning to ski can take place in groups of 10 or individually. For a five-day group course you will have to pay about 140 EUR. The same price local instructors ask for two hours of individual lessons.
