A sightseeing tour of Saint-Tropez will take no more than one day. Start with the promenade, where you can see paintings by famous and unknown artists. Noteworthy is the Chapel of the Annunciation, offering the famous Grammont collection, and nearby the famous Maritime Museum beckons you to its exhibition halls.
The port is both the center of restaurant and terrace life and the final destination of shopping routes. Here you can admire expensive luxury yachts and even take pictures.
In Saint-Tropez the building of the gendarmerie (from the movie "The Gendarme of Saint-Tropez") has been preserved, although it is not used for its intended purpose for a long time and is quite dilapidated. It has been proposed for demolition many times, but thanks to the persistence of the Mayor of Saint-Tropez, it has survived and is one of the most photographed sites in the town.
After exploring Saint-Tropez, you can order a bus tour to the neighboring towns: Saint-Maxime with its Gramophone Museum, Cogolan, where unique wind instruments and smoking pipes are made, as well as Antibes, where a large number of amazing architectural monuments are concentrated.
