Train
This mode of transportation is the most convenient way to reach the city center. You need to take trains on lines S8 and S9.
Where to find: The Frankfurt Flughafen Regionalbahnhof train station is located in Terminal 1 next to Exit B.
Travel time: 15 minutes.
Train schedule: S9 runs every 15 minutes from 05:00 to 01:00, and S9 operates 24/7.
Ticket price: 4.95 EUR.
Where to buy a ticket: Ticket machines at the airport or at the railway ticket office (open from 07:00 to 22:00). Don't forget to validate your ticket to avoid a 50 EUR fine.
Bus
To reach the city center, you can take buses numbered 61, 77, 62, 58 during the day, or N7 and N81 at night.
Where to find: On the first floor of Terminal 1 (stop No. 16) and on the second floor of Terminal 2 (Südbahnhof station).
Travel time: Approximately 30 minutes, buses run every 20 minutes.
