A vacation with children in Reykjavík promises to be easy and interesting. There are many hotels in the city, which willingly take families with children, even very young. However, there is not much in the way of entertainment for kids.
One of the main places of entertainment for children in Reykjavik is the local zoo. However, you won't find the usual African animals. Its main inhabitants are animals that are typical of the fauna of these latitudes: goats, sheep, cows, chickens, horses and others. Children under four years old can pass free of charge. Children under five years of age are admitted 550 ISK, and from 13 and older - 750 ISK.
There is also an amusement park in Reykjavík called Family Park. There are all sorts of modern attractions, a sports park and a water park. The latter has pools that are heated by geothermal springs.
