City Transportation
Dublin offers a comprehensive public transportation system primarily served by Dublin Bus. With approximately 200 routes spanning across the city and its neighborhoods, Dublin Bus connects various parts of Dublin. It's worth noting that understanding the numbering of bus routes can be challenging, so it's advisable to research which routes will take you to your desired attractions in advance.
For those seeking transportation from the city center to the outskirts, the Luas streetcar system is a convenient option. This system comprises two lines: the red line streetcars, which connect the train station to suburban areas, and the green line streetcars, providing service from St. Stephen's Green Park to Cherrywood.
Exploring Dublin isn't limited to public transportation; the city also welcomes cyclists. If you're up for an adventure, consider renting a bike from a bicycle rental shop and embarking on your own journey.
