Bormio is a paradise for beginners and advanced skiers alike. The snow cover lasts from December to April, which means the slopes are at your disposal for almost half a year. The ski area lies between 1203m and 3017m, and is subdivided into three areas: Bormio 2000, St. Caterina Valfurva and Oga-Valdidentro.

The total length of Bormio's ski slopes in this interval is 100 km. Of these, Bormio has 35 km of blue runs, 55 km of red runs and 10 km of black runs. For cross-country skiing enthusiasts, there is 45 km of flat skiing.

Some of the most challenging ski slopes in Bormio are those at the top of Cima Bianca (3000 m). For advanced skiers this will be a very interesting downhill run. However, beware of its dangers; it is extremely difficult. There are safety nets on both sides to prevent accidents.

Both at the top of Cima Bianca and on the slopes of Le Motte-Oga there are beautiful virgin spaces that are ideal for snowboarders.

Among the intermediate level skiers, the descent to Bormio 2000 from the summit of Cima Bianca is a must-see. The Le Motte slope is also interesting. Beginners' slopes are located in the Bormio-2000 area. Beginner skiers are advised to take the lifts back into town, as the downhill runs into town are quite challenging.
