Beach Vacation
How to have a beach vacation with children in Naples? The answer is quite obvious — go to the sea and enjoy swimming. What else can you do on the Mediterranean coast? However, since the Gulf of Naples within the city limits is quite polluted, it is recommended to head to the island of Capri, the resort towns of Sorrento and Salerno, or the villages of Amalfi and Positano. There is regular transportation available to these destinations.
Zoo
After leaving the beach, you can visit the local zoo to see lemurs, monkeys, and alligators. The entrance fee for adults is around 18 EUR, and for children aged 3 to 12, it's 12 EUR.
Ecological Museum
The Zoological Museum in Naples will appeal to those interested in dinosaurs, mammoths, ancient shells, mummies, and other relic treasures (ticket prices range from 3 to 5 EUR).
Amusement park
If you can't see the sights anymore, take the whole family to an amusement park Mirabilandia (combines regular and water rides, as well as a house of horrors, where local youth like to tickle their nerves).
Other entertainment
Other activities for children in Naples include:
- Acquario di Napoli, the oldest aquarium in Italy,
- Gaiola Underwater Park (near Cape Posilippo you can see the sunken ancient Roman ruins)
- Lo Zoo di Napoli.
