For those who decide to come to the ski resort for the first time, Sestriere has four schools that offer skiing lessons. The largest is the Scuola Nazionale Sci Sestriere. It is universally popular not only because it employs the best ski instructors, but also because of its special approach to tourists. The whole process of learning to ski is not only clear but also fun.
Alongside this school, there is also the Scuola Sci Olimpionica Sestriere, which can provide alpine skiing lessons not only for adults but also for children. You can learn the basics of skiing in just a few days.
No matter which of the listed ski schools you choose, the training rates are approximately the same. A private lesson in winter (high season) costs around 45 EUR per hour, and about 42 EUR in the low season. Group lessons are more affordable: a six-day course costs approximately 190 EUR in high season and 180 EUR in low season. A five-day course for children is around 135 EUR in high season and 130 EUR in low season.
