When the beach season opens in Lithuania

- Neringa
Lithuanian beach vacations in the short Lithuanian season will also appeal to connoisseurs of the unusual dune beaches of Neringa. The coniferous scent of forests, the cleanest air, watercolor water of the Baltic are good in June and August. All beaches are open for people, there are paths for bicycles and walks. The architecture of these resorts does not suggest any special historicity, but there are good sanatoriums here.
The beaches of the Curonian Spit are considered the best on the Baltic Sea coast. It is on the shallow waters of Neringa that it is recommended to go with children. Here the water warms up to +24°C in summer. On average, the Baltic Sea off the coast of Lithuania is rarely warmer than +20°C, and this is already considered a comfortable temperature. Of course, it is for the amateur. A strip of purest sand 25-70 meters wide stretches along the entire seashore of Neringa. Not far away is the village of Juodkrante, which is gradually developing as a Lithuanian seaside resort.
- Palanga
The beaches of Palanga are wide, spacious, with soft and clean sand. There are changing booths all along the length. There are water bikes, beach games and catamarans.
- Klaipeda
Klaipeda is not so popular as a seaside resort, but there are two good beaches here too, Giruliai and Melnrazhe.
