Transportation in Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur's public transportation is represented by:

• Light Land Metro LRT - routes are served by mostly automated carriages without drivers. Fares start at MYR 1.6;
• the KL Monorail, which runs through the city's Golden Triangle. It's a great way to quickly familiarize yourself with all the sights of the capital;

• KTM Komuter electric trains. Fares start from 1 MYR per trip. Tickets are sold at ticket offices and vending machines. Advice to tourists when choosing this mode of transportation in Kuala Lumpur: pay attention to the interval of trains - in the morning and evening it is about 15 minutes, in the afternoon - increases to half an hour;
• Rail buses and excursion buses Hop-On-Hop-Off buses, which allow unlimited boarding. The program includes a visit to 70 sights of the capital, the route involves 22 stops;

• red-white and black-and-yellow cabs. Boarding is MYR 3 and the fare is metered.
