Mexico City International Airport
is named after former Mexican President Benito Juarez. It is located 15 kilometers from the city and is one of the busiest airports in Latin America. It has an annual passenger traffic of 29.5 million.
How to get to the city center
From the airport, you can get to the city by public transportation, cab, shuttle, or rent a car. The journey by car will take you no more than 20 minutes.
Public transportation
Public transportation at the airport includes metro and buses. Read more about these modes of transportation below.
Metro
The subway will get you to the center of Mexico City quickly and comfortably. Moreover, it is the cheapest mode of transportation. To get to the center, you will need to take a train to Pantitlan, at the Observatory station you will need to get off and take line 1. Where to find: 5 line Terminal Area subway station is located at the Terminal One exit.
Trip time: 20 minutes.
Operation schedule: Monday to Friday trains run from 05:00 to 24:00, Saturday: from 06:00 to 24:00, Sunday: from 07:00 to 24:00.
Fare: 5 MXN. You can buy your ticket at the terminal at the station.
Bus
From the airport to the city center (Paseo de la Reforma), you can take bus number 4 from MetroBus.
Where to find: the bus stop is located next to exit 7 of the first terminal and exit 4 of the second terminal.
Trip time: 30 minutes.
Operation schedule: from 05:00 to 01:00.
Fare: 30 MXN. You can buy a ticket from the driver.
Transfer
One of the most comfortable ways to get to the city is a transfer. You will be able to choose the class of car and the availability of additional options, such as a child car seat and others. When you order this service, the driver will be waiting for you in the arrival hall.

Taxi
You can comfortably reach the city by cab. The only thing the local authorities advise is to be careful when choosing a cab and order a licensed vehicle. The cab stand is located near the terminal exit.
Cost: 450- 600 MXN
Car Rental
If you have the desire to travel a lot, we recommend renting a car. You can do this either at the car rental counter at the airport or online.
Cost: from 2000 MXN per day for an economy car.
How to get to the bus and train station
Mexico Central Bus Station Mexico Central Bus Station can be reached by bus. Go to the Mexico Central Camionera Poniente station, after which you will need to go to the Observatorio stop (142 meters) and take bus number 1. The bus will take you to Pino Suarez station.
To the train station you can take a cab.
