Montenegrin cuisine is rich in meat, fish and cheese dishes. Traditional Montenegrin dishes: prsut (dried meat), goat cheese, brynza, veshalica (hot chops stuffed with spices), flat large cutlets "pleskavitsy", chevapchichi (sausages from minced meat), pork kebabs "razhnichi" or meat on the bone "kotlet", sausages for beer "kobasitsy". The main dishes are served with fries, slices of tomatoes and cucumbers or with a mixture of boiled potatoes and boiled blitva, which tastes like spinach.
