From the start, figuring out how to get to Cebu from the airport can be tricky. In reality, however, there are no particular problems with it. Travelers have three options to choose from to get into the city - two types of cabs and public transportation.
Taxis here are differentiated by color. Yellow cab drivers offer their services directly at the arrivals hall. They will cost you a little more. Cheaper white cabs are available at the exit of the departure terminal. This is where they bring passengers from the city. A cab ride to Cebu will cost you PHP 200. But you'll be right in the city by driving over the bridge. However, there are often traffic jams on the bridge.
It's much cheaper to take a shuttle bus and then a ferry between the islands. The stop is behind the domestic terminal and you'll need to walk through the airport to get there. The fare to the pier will cost you PHP 8. It will take no more than 20 minutes to get to the pier. Next, you will need to buy a ferry ticket, which is quite comfortable and fast. It will take you to the Cebu pier in 25-30 minutes. The ferry ticket costs PHP 14 plus PHP 1 insurance premium.
