The most popular activity in Cebu is diving. Malapascua Island, a small part of Cebu province near the central island, is where many divers arrive each year. The waters here, with their coral and other tropical beauties, are a consistent snorkeling destination.
Cebu easily outruns any amusement park in terms of leisure activities. You'll find horseback riding, including as sightseeing transportation, mountain bike rentals with the ability to ride through challenging terrain, and of course boat, kayak, and other watercraft rentals.
Original attractions for kids and adults include the Juliana Humalon Gallery and Butterfly Park in Cebu. In the courtyard, or rather park, you'll find one of the oldest butterfly collections in the Philippines. The butterflies fly freely, but are in no hurry to leave the park.
