Playa de las Americas is the main resort town of the island of Tenerife, which is part of the Canary Archipelago. The tourist area is formed in the southern part of the municipality of Arona and borders Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje. It is represented by modern sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast, restaurants, bars, complexes of water entertainment. In 75 km from Playa de las Americas is the capital of the island - Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in 42 km - Las Cañadas with the volcano Teide.
