Grindelwald stands out as a year-round ski resort, nestled amidst the stunning Alpine landscapes. It offers a total of 51 slopes for skiing enthusiasts, with varying levels of difficulty: 20% for experts, 50% for intermediate skiers, and 30% for beginners. Cross-country skiers can explore 34 kilometers of flat trails and 20 kilometers of downhill runs, situated at elevations ranging from 1000 to 1800 meters above sea level. Nature lovers will find approximately 80 kilometers of hiking trails in the surrounding mountains. Families can enjoy 6 sledding slopes, a kindergarten, and a dedicated ski school for children. For those seeking freestyle skiing action, the White Elements snow park is divided into two sections: one for beginners (located on the Oberjoch) and another for experienced freestyle skiers (near the Bärgelegg rope tow elevator). The Schreckfeld station boasts a 5.5-meter-long half-pipe, one of the country's largest. Additionally, Grindelwald offers night skiing, snowboarding, and tubing (inflatable "tubing") in the Bodmi Arena area on Thursdays and Fridays from 19:00 to 22:00. Admission is complimentary for Jungfrau Ski Pass holders. Between exhilarating runs, you can engage in various indoor activities, including tennis, squash, curling, bowling, or billiards. You can also take advantage of ice skating, visit the swimming pool, relax in the sauna, or work out at the fitness club.
