The Ski & Snowboard School Altitude International Grindelwald is a versatile option catering to both children and adults, professionals and beginners. The school boasts instructors from various countries, including Russian-speaking instructors.
If you're interested in not only learning to ski but also renting equipment, we recommend the Ski & Snowboard School Buri Sport (SSBS). They offer instruction for both skiing and snowboarding, along with equipment rental services.
In addition to the mentioned schools, there are several other options available in the resort:
- The Swiss Ski & Snowboard School Kleine Scheidegg is the oldest school, offering alpine skiing instruction since 1935.
- The Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Grindelwald organizes special family days for an enjoyable learning experience.
- If you're looking for VIP services, consider the Ski & Snowboard School Privat-Ski. They offer private lessons by reservation, with trainees enjoying private access to the cable car.
- The Ski & Snowboardschule Männlichen is situated at the Maennlichenbahn mountain station and features instructors proficient in various languages, including German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, and Russian. They also provide a kindergarten for children aged 3-5.
Tuition fees vary based on factors such as the age of the students, the number of students, and the duration of the lessons. For example, at the Ski & Snowboardschule Männlichen, half-day lessons for children aged 4-6 years from Monday to Wednesday cost 130 CHF, from Monday to Friday - 190 CHF, on Saturday and Sunday - 75 CHF, and a single day - 40 CHF.
If parents enroll two children simultaneously, they can benefit from a 2% discount, and for the third child and onwards, there is a 5% discount. For children aged 6 years and older, a full-day lesson from Monday to Friday is priced at CHF 370. Adults have the option to purchase a season pass for 10 lessons for CHF 350 or a full season pass for CHF 480. On average, the daily instructor rate at the resort starts at CHF 300 or CHF 170 per lesson.
