Public Transportation

The Grindelwald resort is renowned for its railroad, with its terminus located on Jungfrau Mountain. From there, numerous ski slopes descend into the town. However, the primary mode of transportation within Grindelwald is the extensive bus network, featuring a total of 6 routes during the winter season.

Transportation Routes

Route 1 commences at the Oberer Gletscher station and concludes at the Mannlichen elevator, spanning the entire length of the resort. At Rothenegg station, bus route 1a branches off towards Schwendi station.

Route 2 connects the Gletscherschlucht station with the Bodmi snow park, while Route 4 also departs from this location, terminating at Stutz.

Route 3 originates at the station near the church, taking passengers to the Itramen elevator.

The shortest route, Route 5, operates between Bahnhof and Oberall stations.

Route 6 is the only bus designed for sleds, running from Bahnhof station to the Bussalp sledding area.
