Public Transportation
Although the Swiss town of Leukerbad is quite small, it has a convenient public transportation system. You can get to the ski elevators you need by streetcar, bus, or on foot. Tickets are sold in vending machines at each stop.
City Transportation
To pay your fare, you will need to exchange paper money for coins. It is not possible to buy a ticket in the vehicle itself. You will have to pay a very hefty fine for fare evasion, so make sure you buy a ticket before you get on Leukerbad transportation.
For cars, there is a restriction in the town that they cannot be driven at night.
