When you arrive at a ski resort, the first priority is to acquire skiing skills. If you're a novice and have no prior skiing experience, local certified ski instructors can provide guidance. Even beginners can demonstrate their skiing abilities with just a few ski lessons.
St. Moritz boasts a total of four ski schools, with the oldest and largest one established in 1929. You can learn skiing through group or private programs. Opting for a group course, a three-day program costs 280 CHF. For individual lessons, the price starts at 370 CHF per person for 5 hours of private instruction.
In addition to mastering the fundamentals of skiing, St. Moritz also offers opportunities to learn freestyle skiing, with programs starting at 85 CHF per day.
