Skiing in Zermatt requires a certain level of skill, and beginners might find the slopes challenging. However, this doesn't mean that beginners should avoid Zermatt. In fact, the resort offers several ski schools where even first-time skiers can learn the fundamentals of alpine skiing.
Skiing lessons in Zermatt cater to both children and adults. For instance, at the Schweizer Ski- und Snowboardschule Zermatt, children are grouped into two age categories: four to six and six to 14. They participate in half-day lessons, running from 9 AM to 4:30 PM with a lunch break.
