Koh Chang Waterfalls
Tourists are encouraged to visit five famous waterfalls as part of the sightseeing tours:
Klong Plu: Located near Klong Pao Beach, it is the most famous among visitors to the island;
Tan Mayom;
Klong Nonsi;
Klong Nueng;
Keree Pet;
There are diving opportunities near each of the waterfalls. A diving school has been built near Klong Plu, and there are also sports equipment rentals.
How to get there: by tuk-tuk, cab, or motorcycle (from 50 THB). There are special signs leading to the waterfalls, so it is difficult to get lost.
Cost of admission: The price of admission to the area, which includes each of the waterfalls, is 200 THB for an adult, 100 THB for a child. You can enjoy the natural beauty all day long. The only waterfall free to visit is Tan Mayom.
Operation schedule: from 8:00 to 17:30.
Fisherman's Village (Bang Bao)
Fisherman's Village Bang Bao attracts tourists with numerous fishing spots:
It is possible to rent a boat or catch sea creatures right next to the shore.
Children will love the unusual coral and the abandoned ship turned hotel.
The architecture of Bang Bao is also interesting. The houses of the locals are built on stilts just above the water. The paths between the huts are wooden posts.
There is a fish market within the village, as well as several restaurants serving delicious seafood.
The village can be found at the lighthouse and the pier of the same name, from which boats depart to the nearby islands.
How to get there: Take a tuk-tuk, cab, or motorcycle to the extreme southwest point of Koh Chang Island.
Cost of entry: It's conventionally free. Prices for lunch at a local restaurant are from 150 THB per person.
Operation schedule: access to the village is available from 8:00 to 21:00.
Koh Chang's Surrounding Islands
The archipelagos of islands near Ko Chang also deserve attention:
Koh Mun Nok-Mun Nai near Kai Bei Beach with lots of golden coral;
Koh Lao Ya Nai, Koh Lao Ya Klang, and Koh Lao Ya Nok. The boat ride to these islands takes about two hours. The archipelago has a Lao Yo Resort hotel, as well as pristine beaches and all the necessary infrastructure.
One of the most popular activities on the islands is a ride on the back of an elephant (from 900 THB).
How to get there: Take a boat (from THB 100) or rent a kayak (from THB 300) from the pier near the fishing village of Bang Bao.
Operation schedule: Voyage boats from Ko Chang to the neighboring islands operate from 7:00 to 21:00.
Koh Chang Lookouts
The lookouts on Chang Island offer scenic views of the nearby archipelagos of islets, as views of Koh Chang itself are obstructed by mountains. The following viewpoints are the most popular:
By the beach White Sand Beach;
Near the coast of Kai Bay;
On the headland at the fishermen's village of Bang Bao;
Near the war memorial.

Koh Chang's Religious Sites
The religious buildings of the island of Chang are not distinguished by magnitude and pathos. There are no huge buildings here, but local temples are characterized by a special coziness. Among the religious sights of Koh Chang stand out:
Tubtim, a Chinese-style temple dedicated to the Sea God;
Wat Klong Prao on the eponymous Klong Prao Beach;
Wat Chao Po Koh Chang is the island's main shrine. The iconic structure is located between White Sand Beach and the ferry crossing;
Wat Salakphet in the southeast of the island in the bay of the same name;
The Orthodox Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh. The church has been in operation since early 2015.

Operation schedule: temples are open to the public from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
