Part of Krabi province, the picturesque Phi Islands are an archipelago of six islands. They are located between Phuket and the mainland in the Andaman Sea. The only inhabited island is the largest part of the archipelago, Phi Phi Phi Don. But most tourists, thanks to the scene from the legendary movie with DiCaprio, are familiar with the island of Phi Phi Phi Lei, also significant in area. None of the islands in the archipelago (even Phi Phi Phi Don) has an airport. In order to enjoy their fabulous nature, you have to travel by boat or ferry.
