Istanbul International Airport (New Airport)
The New Istanbul Airport (İstanbul Havalimanı) is located 35 km from the city center.
How to get to the city center
Municipal buses H 1,2,3,4,6,7,8 and IST 1,2,3,5,7,8,15,17,19,20 run from the airport to the city center. You can check their schedules and routes at website. Ticket price: from 2.5 to 5 USD depending on the distance.
Bus
The travel time to the city center will take you about 1 hour 40 minutes (distance - 47 km.). Bus stops are located near exits No. 9, 10, 12 and 13, located on the -2 floor.
Route. You can get to the city center using the iST-20 bus, a Havabus company. Stop in the city center - Sultanahmet.

Taxi

Bus
To the bus station. The duration of the trip is 1 hour. On the iST-3 bus, Havaist company, you need to get to the stop - Otogar.
To the railway station:
Haydarpaşa Station (Asian side). By bus iST-7 to the Kadıköy stop, then 900 meters on foot. Travel time is about 2 hours.
Sirkeci Station (European side). By bus iST-20 you need to get to the Sultanahmet stop, then walk 850 meters on foot. Travel time is about 2 hours.

Sabiha Gökçen International Airport
The airport is located 20 km east of the Asian side of Istanbul and 45 km east of the European city center.
How to get to the city center
City bus
The following municipal bus routes run from the airport to the city center:
E3 (the final stop coincides with the Levent metro station);
16S (final stop - metrobus);
E11 (final stop - Kadikoy area);
KM20 (final stop - Kartal metro station);
MR60 and 132H (terminus corresponds to Pendik railway station).
Working hours: every half an hour from 06:00 to 01:30.
Travel time is approximately 40 minutes maximum.
Ticket price: 3 USD.
Havabus
The bus stop is located near the exit of the international terminal. The road to the city center will take 1 hour 40 minutes (distance - 47 km.).
