National Children's Museum
Many museums in Washington, D.C., have been designated as national museums. The National Children's Museum is no exception. Despite the pathos of its name, there's probably no better way to entertain kids in Washington. Here, little travelers will have fun participating in TV and radio studios, working in the lab, and playing with soap bubbles.
The museum constantly organizes children's educational events, and animators work every day. Admission to the "Land of Children's Happiness" costs 7 USD, children under 2 years old are free. The address is 800 3rd Street, NE.
Six Flags Park
There's no Disneyland-like amusement park in Washington, D.C., but you can ride a roller coaster at Six Flags, a 20-minute drive from the city. There's also a water park in the summer.
Parking costs about $15 USD. The address is 13710 Central Avenue.
