- drinking alcohol in public places and in the presence of children;
- purchase and consumption of alcohol by persons under 21 years of age;
- racial discrimination;
- acts that may be considered as sexual harassment;
- throwing garbage in the trash can or on the side of the road.
Video cameras are installed everywhere, so even the smallest violation will be recorded and will lead to undesirable consequences for the tourist.
In Washington since 2006 there is a curfew for teenagers under 17 years old: after 22:00 they are forbidden to appear on the streets of the city. This measure has significantly reduced the crime rate, but the problem with drug trafficking and organized gangs is still quite acute.
It is better to keep your passport with you during excursions and walks.
