Guide to Golden Sands

A virtual tour of Golden Sands

Golden Sands resort takes pride in its Blue Flag beaches, awarded for their cleanliness. The sea near the shore is shallow, but the entry into the water is not always gradual, making it less convenient for families with children. If you are traveling with young children or elderly individuals, it is recommended to choose a hotel on the first line of the beach to avoid daily walks to the beach over hilly terrain. In Zolotye Peski, there are balneological clinics and thermal springs, sports facilities, numerous cafes and restaurants, clubs, and discos.

The most popular attractions among tourists include the Aladzha Monastery, the Golden Sands Nature Park with hiking trails of varying difficulty, and the Church of St. John the Baptist. In the port, you can rent a yacht or buy a ticket for a boat trip.

The Golden Sands resort is conveniently located, allowing for quick and affordable visits to neighboring cities. When planning a visit to Varna, include the Sea Museum, Archaeological Museum, and Aquarium in your itinerary. In Balchik, the Royal Palace and Botanical Garden are of great interest to travelers. The travel agencies in Golden Sands also offer excursions to Cape Kaliakra, where a natural and archaeological reserve is located.
